Privacy policy
What happens to the numbers you enter, and how ads and visit statistics use cookies.
Who is responsible
Enough Path is run by Asier Fernández, an individual based in Spain. Contact: asierfernandezmotilva@gmail.com. Full details are in the legal notice.
What you type stays on your device
The spending, savings, ages and returns you enter are worked out in your browser. They are not sent to us and we have no server that stores them. The share link puts the scenario after the "#" in the address: browsers do not send that part to websites, and only the people you give the link to can see it.
Advertising and cookies
Enough Path is paid for by advertising from Google AdSense. Where ads appear, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- Read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- You can turn off personalized ads from Google in Ads Settings, and from many other ad companies at aboutads.info.
- Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before cookies are used for ads, and can change their choice at any time.
- If you live in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising through the same message.
Visit statistics
Enough Path uses Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, how visitors arrive and the type of device, country and city. Nothing you type in the calculators is sent, and the scenario in the address is removed before the page address is recorded. The only calculator event recorded is which calculator was used. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Analytics sets no cookies unless you accept them; elsewhere, including the United States, it uses first-party cookies (_ga) that last up to 2 years. If your device's time zone is in Europe, a message asks for your choice when you arrive, and the "Cookie choices" link at the bottom of each page lets you change it. Your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may record technical data such as your IP address to keep the service secure; see the GitHub privacy statement. Fonts and calculator scripts are served from this site; the Analytics and ad scripts come from Google.
Children
Enough Path is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Your rights
Under the EU and UK GDPR and US state privacy laws you can ask for access to, or deletion of, personal data about you. As we do not hold what you type, most requests are about ads and visit statistics, which Google handles through the links above. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or your local authority.
