Editorial policy
How pages on Enough Path are written, checked, corrected and kept independent.
Who is responsible
Every page is reviewed and approved by the editor, Asier Fernández, before it is published, and shows the date it was last reviewed.
How we use AI
Pages are drafted with AI assistance. Numbers are computed by our own open formulas, the same code as the calculators, never typed in by hand or taken from an AI answer. Every factual claim is checked against a primary source and the page is reviewed by the editor before publishing. Claims that cannot be confirmed in a source are left out.
Sources
We prefer primary sources: official agencies such as the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the Federal Reserve and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and research papers cited with their authors and date. Each page lists the sources it relies on.
What we publish and what we do not
- Calculation and education: formulas, worked examples and the assumptions behind them.
- No personal investment advice, no recommendations to buy or sell any investment and no promises about returns.
- No invented experiences, quotes, testimonials or authors.
- No sponsored content. Advertisers do not choose or review what we write.
Updates
Figures that change every year, such as tax or Social Security amounts, are reviewed each January. The date at the end of each page changes when the page is reviewed.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, email asierfernandezmotilva@gmail.com with the page and, for a calculator, its share link. Confirmed mistakes are fixed, the review date is updated and calculation errors are recorded in the change log of the methodology.
