What Enough Path is

Enough Path is a free website of calculators and explanations about FIRE: financial independence and early retirement. It answers two questions with numbers you can check: how much is enough for the life you want, and when your savings get there.

Who edits it

Enough Path is edited by Asier Fernández, who builds free calculation tools for the web from Spain. He writes the formulas, checks every page against its sources and decides what is published.

Asier Fernández is not a financial adviser, planner, accountant or tax professional, and Enough Path does not give personal investment advice. What the site offers is calculation: transparent formulas, stated assumptions and sources you can check yourself.

Why it exists

Many retirement calculators do not say whether the return they ask for is before or after inflation, and lean, coast and fat FIRE are often worked out on different sites with different assumptions. Enough Path uses one set of assumptions for all of them, works in today's dollars and shows the formula next to every result.

How the work is done

The methodology lists every formula, default and test. The editorial policy explains how pages are written, including the use of AI tools, how facts are checked and how mistakes are corrected.

Independence and funding

Enough Path is free to use and is paid for by advertising from Google AdSense. Advertisers do not choose or review what the pages say. There are no sponsored pages and, at the moment, no affiliate links; if that changes, each such link will be labeled.
